3M wanted to promote their faster, simpler petrifilm testing among lab scientists, who spend their days staring down microscopes.

We didn't just think small, we went microscopic. We printed microscopic messages (500 nm tall) on our petrifilms and mailed them to labs across the country. A tiny message which was also a product demo.
